    She suffers quietly
    unknowingly innocent
    one breath on a
    silent breeze
    sleeping
    laughing
    loving
    feeling --- free

    The little brown
    humming bird
    that sings dances bounces
    and....
    "makes me feel fine"
    e v e r y d a y of our lives
    I gave birth to
    a ray of sunshine

    ...and I receive Summyr's warmth
    Surrounding absence
    Holding happiness
    in a toddler cup
    to share a sip with
    mom-me

    God's Greatest Gift
    healthly
    adorable
    playful
    my joy...
    my little "honey-bee"

    I took a moment
    time to listen
    to the howl of
    a torrent wind
    and felt the
    air mass turn cold
    when he turned
    his back on
    the sunshine's smile
    from a Summyr breeze
    while brushing shrugged
    shoulders
    without care
    ... I wonder ...
    how can a
    black man
    foresake
    his own
    precious
    child?

    My daughter suffers
... her only crime at the
    age of 4 was
    loving a father
    who one day chose
    not to be a
    parent
    for her
    to love
    anymore ....
