Black Poetry : she say "he just a friend" (pet peeve)

ok I ain’t always used integrity
on the prowl back in my day
but I grew up (at least mentally)
and I straight say what I have to say

If I’m in a “situation”, that’s what it is
If I’m not, she gets all my digits
Yeah I got kids and they all grown
So relax and let’s git witit

But I hate when I’m all mellowed out
Done got comfortable with the flow
and I’m jay bird nekkid
And somebody bangin on the doh…

I look at her, she look away
I wanna know what’s up with this bangin
I gets my clothes, open up da doh
Leave the crib, my stuff all hangin

She come callin all apologetic
"He’s just a friend, and nothing mo"…
I calmly say, "hey I understand
but I don’t think he know"…

SITUATIONS that don't need to be. don't she understand that people DIE in situations like that.

i guess one of my pet peeves would be the woman who says, OH, I KNOW HIM...HE'S NOT VIOLENT LIKE THAT. but no one ever knows what an individual would do in a given situation 'til that individual is in that situation.

AND SHE SAY HE'S JUST A FRIEND...she say he's just a friend.

hahahaha.... I've seent this one many a time. It ain't healthy for anyone for someone to be withholding important information about known stalkers and former boyfriends and the babydaddies/mamas that come out the word work when you least expect it... like they always do!
