I walked into the dimly lit room
The ambiance was nicely drawn
Much like a poet about to vibe

She noticed me without delay
Eyes met mine with a shy grin

**** she's kinda right I thought

Body was bangin' like that
Hope she has the intellect to
complement such a perfected
gift from heaven above

She was smooth without a doubt
I was up to a little reciprocity
in matching her alluring sophistication
with my own gentleman's quality

Eyes reveal an inner meaning

She wanted me to read her
like a good romance novel

So I did…
Wanting never to put this
steamy book (her) down

As I flipped through her
pages, each chapter got
hotter and had me wet
with sweat

The foreword told of her
reason for being the woman
whom she was

Good upbringing, better
character, and greater morals

Chapter 1 highlighted her
intellect - a plethora of
knowledge from a black
woman's perspective

Inner beauty and a loving
heart danced along each
paragraph of Chapter 2
{You know the outer beauty
was thorough as well (smile)}

Ensuing chapters made this
woman a best seller!

They told of her sensuality and
how she would love a true
brotha…

With mind, soul, body, and
heart - she broke it down
like this:

The mind makes love

The soul nurtures the
body which is a temple

And the heart connects
all four associations
which make her who she
is…

A real black woman
who is the paradigm
of what a real sista
is all about

Had me wondering as I
fundamentally
read her…

Could I be that brotha
in the front line for an
autographed copy?

a novel.....?

ooh I beg to differ my eloquent brotha..this is more like volume 1 of a 4-volume autobiographical masterwork in progress for the purpose of treating each essential ingredient of mind, soul, body and heart...as only a Black woman can scribe it!

I'm reading this like a lesson-help for my spirit!

thank you
