    She Entered The Room

Her eyes were dark as the ocean’s deep
They harnessed tears she dared to weep
The smile she had did light the room
    Promising pleasures someday soon

Hair as coal as the darkest night
A striking pose…to wield her might
A body sculptured from the finest wines
Her delicious taste will always be mine

“I’ll take you,” she said, with the softest voice
A committed mind, with the broadest choice
She took my hand and presented that smile
And told me she was mine for awhile

We walked along the Milky Way
    We danced…we loved…through a night of play
When morning came, we went our way
To continue our moment another day

I look back on that one blessed wonderful night
With thoughts of joy…and a sense of right
That when our union comes again
I won’t let go her proffered hand

In that moment of quickness, I didn’t get her name
A background check just wasn’t the aim
But should our paths once more cross again
I’ll offer the heart…of this lonely man

    When she enters the room

    when he entered the room
    my eyes greeted his smile
    as he walked towards me
    with that manly gait
    legs long and straight
making him seem taller than any man
    I had ever seen before
    shoulders back (posture gorgeous)
head tilted slightly to the side
    eyes warm as glazed donuts
    dipped in maple syrup

"miss would you honor me with a dance

placed my hand in his hand
and let him lead me to the center of the floor

the music made of a Belize sunset
    he positioned his hand
on the small of my back
and moved me closer to him
    then held me the way
i always wanted to be held
and then i closed my eyes
    and relaxed into the loveliness
and warmth of this man's dance

i will forever remember this night
when a stranger and a dance made me feel
    less lonely

She wiped the lonely from this man
A lovely smile. A gentle hand
He was caught up in her world of giving
For one wondrous night, life seemed worth living
As they twirled around that magical room
    Eyes to soul…as wonderful loomed
The moment was made on the wings of a chance
A climactic stroll, after a romantic dance

    I THANK YOU FOR THAT.:)
