water seeks its own level
she thought

~not wanting to think
at all~

but the warm breezes
brought the images
again

and the sensuous sound of
waters slapping gently
against the boat

and the rocking
motion in the noon heat

aroused her mental

& made the moment
impossible to
deny

~she had to flow ~

yes, she thought,
she knows how the
river feels

in search of the
sea

carrying with it
all hope of the
'joining'

of becoming an even
greater thing

more than
just a
natural tributary

~true oneness~

but even more than this,

she wondered what
it meant to be
the fullness of
a raging sea...

on a course
pre~determined
by the divine,

to merge with~
spilling forth
into~

the
boundless
ocean

blending
dark waters

~always, pouring,
always giving,
always, more~

enlarging
the capacity
for 'new'

increasing the
opportunities
for 'free'

creating
more mysteries
to discover, happily,
in quiet caverns
of the deep

with enough
treasures to
share for 1000
lifetimes

~the ultimate marriage~

~~~~~~~
she lay
sun kissed,
in the silent afternoon
lulled by the
rhythm of the waters
and dreamed herself,
a river
who had finally found
the sea
Alyce ... your work especially came to mind
when considering separating the poets
because of their sensuality ...
whew gurl !!!
sensuality at its best
your words, your flow
all on lock down ...
if we went that way
:heart:
