A shackle on my mind prevents liberating thinking
I remain oppressed by my own vices
isn’t death the reward of the oppressed

A shackle around my neck no longer allows the breath of life to exit
I’ll soon find death on this side of creation

Shackles around my wrist explore the many veins thereon
I must now find a new way to exit life

A shackle on my **** is called **** ring
It allows my ding-a-ling to maintain an erection
I can **** longer—unprotected and non-discretely—and hope that this game of Russian roulette doesn’t result in a draw

Shackles around my feet keep me immobile
Funny enough, I wouldn’t run from this shooting range even if I could

But what does all of this mean
    when you discover
    seven years
    and seven months
    and seven minutes
    to this moment
    when the blindfold is removed

When you uncover that you’ve not been shackled
And that your mind, neck, hands, ****, and feet have always been free
