I personally have come to the conclusion that sex is overrated. Even if it is as good as people make it seem to be, it shouldn't be something that I have to hear about every five minutes. But yet in Music, television shows, movies, internet, and even conversations with people I have never even talked to before, it has to come up somewhere. I mean a roach could crawl by and someone will find some way to make a sexual reference out of that. Its pathetic. Do you feel that it is overrated? Why or why not?

Sex in and of itself is not overrated. If it weren't for sex, people wouldn't exist as we know it. Having said that, I find it rather interesting...based on my observation/analysis... that the only people who question whether or not sex is overrated are women. And I think it has to do with...by far... the fact that a woman can go out and have sex with a man much much much quicker than a man could with a woman, 'ethics' and 'morality' aside.

Now the commercialization of sex is something else.
Yet what does that say about the society we live in?
The culture we are exposed to?

I agree, every passing word shouldn't be a reference to sex. But sex is not overrated when your partner can brag about you and you know it's the ish when you can brag about each other. I've come across people who said sex is overrated, I felt they just weren't experiencing it with a compatible person or there's some other issue.

Commercialization of sex is another thing. I agree it's overSATUrated.

And when you're not getting it the RIGHT way, yes one will wonder what is all the brouhaha about. But if you've ever had your lights knocked out, and then knocked out on a continuous basis, then it's all good.

What liberation movement of the 60s? The 60s was the Civil Rights Movement. Civil Rights isn't Liberation. Do you mean some less popular movement of the 60s?
