Remembering the ones we lost on this day,
Brings nothing but sad tears to my face,
Thinking that it could be us next,
Gone away just like that.....in thin air,
They didnt deserve to have their lives tooken away,
But for the terrorists, they will definitely pay,

As I sit beside my bed tonight I will pray,
For all the angels that entered heaven,
We miss you and love u so very much,
I just wish that i could feel one last touch,
    One last breath to breathe,

    One last song to sing,
    I can feel your pain,
A face we will never see again,
You will always be remembered in my heart,
    And in spirit,
    God Bless America

It's unimaginable, thinking it's workday just like any other and then... Saying goodbye to your loved ones, just like any other day, and then... Makes one have to pause, and remember. Something many will be reflecting upon soon, if not already. Thanks for this.

Whenever I leave, I always part with "I love you" ..no matter how long or short the time is, ..For it waits for no one. Time has no Conscious,
My heart also goes out to the lives lost...needlessly.

For today we all stand at half mass remembering the lives lost

Today I remember all so well that dreadful day trying to get home from the once thriving Big Apple/Manhattan which had become the Bruised Big Apple.... people of all color, nationalities and races - true humanity coming together on a common bond helping each other to survival ... people covered in smut, gasping for fresh air in disbelief of something that you see in a movie happened right here in New York City ... the early morning work rush now became the mid-morning frantic of terror running for survival. Tears and heartfelt pain watching the thousands still trapped inside the burning world trade skyscrapers, some jumping out windows to their demise, others with the look on their faces will they survive. I remember all to well the strange eerie atmosphere that consumed the air .... today I remember my first day .... 9/11/01 to never take life for granted ..... my heart and prayers to the families who lost loved ones !!!
