I don’t like myself too much
So I think I’ll just change my name

    But really I don’t understand
    My-self is always the same

    Because I don’t like myself
    I need someone to blame

    Because I don’t like myself
The perfume I wear is shame

    Because I don’t like myself
I take the focus off of me

And everyday instead of being me
I dream of who else I can be

I act like I am down by law
But I ain’t put in work to be down

    Because I don’t like myself
    For sure I’m gonna drown
