Why you walking around
Chest stuck out
Acting like you rule the world?
How could you possible think
That in your feeble state of dependence
Upon the Creator God – Elohim
That you really controlled your own fate
Charted your own stars
Or even became the self-made man
You so boldly claim to be?
Satan has deceive you
And pride misleads you
Thinking yourself to be
Something that you are not
And according to Galatians 6:3
You are only deceiving yourself.

So in reality, self,
You need to come down off your high horse
And realize that this life’s course
Was predestined by the God of Creation
Who by divine ordinance and ultimate power
Chose to allow you to even grace the face
Of the Earth He created
Participate in the course of HIStory He slated
And move from a twinkle in your Daddy’s eye
To a living soul.
Bow down, my Soul,
Bow down and worship Him.
