Do you believe that all races should be separate?
Would everyone be better off this way?
There is only one race of people in the known universe...the white people who mistreat people on the basis of color. They are the race-ists and they practice race-ism. Non-white people, meaning black people and other people who are not "white", are victims of race-ism. You can't be a victim of something and a perpetrator of that same thing at the same time and for this reason non-white people are not race-ists and do not practice race-ism.
I'm sure at some point Saddam Hussein thought he was separate from the white people who practice race-ism. Everything in the known universe is connected. Land is connected to water which is connected to land which is connected to air which is connected to people which are connected to land, etc. There is no way to be separate from other people when they can drop a bomb on you in your sleep.
IF you could would you prefer to be separate?
85% of us in major cities live seperate any how, and segregation is slowly returning to the schools in the south, under the guise of charter schools.
As the brother mentioned before, we are former captives in a hostile environment, so really the choice is not ours!
I don't understand why people don't just answer questions simply...Like Sekhem did...
Would you prefer it? I didn't ask if it was already this way.
Personally i could not care one way or the other but as a solution to what seems to be on the horizon as far as inevitable economic crash due to the bursting of the unregulated derivitives bubble, it mite be our only solution.
No. Everyone should be able to live wherever they well choose.
I would like to have a separate self-governing area like a Black Reservation where only blacks can live there who want to live there and will assist in putting forth and maintaining a thriving black community.
Another Greenwood Oklahoma, but not under the laws of segregation. Segregation means that you are forced to separate from someone else, it is institutionalized, and that other group still controls you and where you live.
Segregation had it's advantages for American black folks but could have thrived better under voluntary separation.
LOL... I know right?
I'm assuming she meant by choice...not force, and yes, I would as long as I'm with other positive, progressive, spiritual, conscious Black people.
Separate names with a comma.
