    Good morning Fam :)

Some know I used to be an avid scam baiter back in the day.. I was involved (in various degrees) in scam baiting ranging from the basic online lotteries, to incarcerated royalty, businessmen looking for partners to Bank/Creditcard fraud and much in between. I stopped for a variety of reasons.

But today.. I received a scam email I had only heard of before and am now tempted to play the bait game once again. Below is the email - only the addresses have been edited - and I've created a new email address myself to begin correspondence, but havent started.. yet.

I'm curious on how folks at destee view scammers - or scam baiting for that matter - and if anyone has ever fallen for, or baited their own.

The aims of scam baiting are various, Edward - some just plan to waste a scammers time with the notion of delaying him getting to others, some to track and trace and report to the authorities, some hope to instill a moral lesson, some aim to redicule, some may hack and send warnings to others on the grade 2 mailing list (grade 2 being people who responded positively to the initial scam mail).. etc

thanks Queen, I will :) the nature of this particular scam email just sickens me. but I am aware of the basic start points and there is no danger at this level, and even less as we go along provided that one knows how to play. I'm still debating.. but I only got 10 days!

Well.. there is a touch of silliness to it, I nearly posted this in the 'joke' forum.. but scamming isnt a joke - it's a very lucrative business and I am continuously amazed at the various types of people that fall for these scams. They continue, because someone is making serious money.

I am curious as to what the tactic will be to get me to release funds here - most (if not all) others are based on a persons greed and/or ignorance. This one is based on fear.
