    at night i huddle in
    my corner of the bed
    my body
    a tight little ball
    i get as miniscule
    and unnecessary as
    i possibly can

    cradling my knees
    with my arms
    legs drawn to my
    breasts

    protecting the
    soft tissues
    of my soul

    rejecting any
    invasions
    of my whole

    language of my being
    whispering, begging
    for invisibility

    language of my heart
    praying for peace
    to envelop me

    at night, i huddle
    in my corner of
    the bed
    and save
    my love

    for you

    I loved this

    this had a

    as the darkness of night...

    ...bathe you in serenity.

let the waves of wonder come hither.

    touching.
