I heard a lullaby
Then a funeral dirge played
Passed by abandoned lot full of weeds
Peered thru a florists' window with lilies displayed

Savored a strawberry ice cream cone
Vomited a mad cow when Pepto failed
Got angry when I was falsely accused without a trial
Felt triumphant, shackles were removed and truth prevailed

That embrace made me toasty amid the blizzard
This vice grip made me so frozen in fear
Got drunk from the whine of my soul's agony, but sobered up
when my cup overflowed with a joy that was utterly sheer

So much happiness and sadness at the same time
Irony overwhelms my day
I'm hoping that the tears won't over power the laughter
And drown out every giddy utterance that I say
It's bad enough that the salt stings the wounds, even worse would be
to allow the salt to taint the sugar and take all the sweetness away...

Very Nice

Great flow Watz

This flow has bitter sweet expressions that are expressed so beautifully.

" Got angry when I was falsely accused without a trial
Felt triumphant, shackles were removed and truth prevailed "

Powerful moment. It does feel triumphant when truth is revealed.

Don't ever let the sadness of a moment or day. Take away the sweet song in your heart. You support and inspire so many, I just hope we do the same.

the title says it all

you know what they say the glass is half full/empty

i say the salt didn't take all the sugar

there's alot of sugar left

peace
