Sahara Heart

My life...
Oh what a ride,
Arid like the desert
Harsh and viscious
Sand storms and the scorching sun
Have made me.

Disastrous you might say-

I beg to differ

You see,
These sand storms to me
Are a sign that they'll be
Calmness
The scorching sun will bring
Cool nights
With more stars in the skies than I've seen
Anywhere

My heart
Like the Sahara harbors many
Feeling of love
Compassion, joy, gratefulness

What is life without scorn, storms and suffering?

My life like the Sahara
Lives....
A memorable existence

I am Sahara Heart.

:) be nice with the comments guys b/c this is my very first public poem. love you all for the inspiration.
