I would think about you every night
With hope of you thinking about me too
My pen would write constant love poems about you,
While my head would play constant memories of you
    Holding me
And using those moist lips to caress me
I was so infatuated with the way your arms would rap around me
I would giggle and front like it meant nothing,
    But it did
    And then...it stopped

It went from walking slower when I saw you
    To running away from you
It went from you telling me your birthday
And me going that same day to pick out a card just for u
And not just any kind of card
But one that seemed like it had been written just for you
Went home hoping to pass you by just to say Hi
To you saying fabricated stories about you and me
    Yet, you said nothing
    so I did nothing

I even listened to Jagged Edge all night long
while writing love poems about you
I would call your house every night just to hear you speak
And I know that you're wondering who'd call and wouldn't speak
    Well I confess....It was me
Called your house playing Ginuwine "Love You More"
And as the melodies were left to seduce you
I used my pen to write ANOTHER love poem about you
I was so infatuated with you
That I'd leave home @ 7:10 every morning
To see you cross @ 139th every day

Just like a ring, I was wrapped around your finger
Still, you had no clue on the power you had
Because I wouldn't allow it to be seen
Would've given everything just for you to notice me
I even pumped up enough nerve to tell you that I liked you
    Boy...wasn't I the fool (lol)
    Yet, you did nothing
BUT dodge me, ignored me, passed me by
Without acknowledging me, told me to get away
    from you...dissed me
    I became invisible to you
So I forced this infatuation for you to go
And now, I am left to be the fool

    Too busy talking about you
    Too busy thinking about you
    Too busy writing about you
When did you ever write about me?

This was as very heart-felt piece. Alot of emotions and thoughts put into it. Especially the ending "When did you ever write about me?". Very nice twist. So many things to say about your piece. I really enjoyed reading your piece and is looking foward to hearing more from you.

He wrote loud and clear ...on the walls. But walls fall, and hearts mend.
I loved this piece...I can relate.
welcome aboard the ship of love.

    love

    so often is:

    a oneway street
    a traffic jam
    a roadsign

    giving all
    is what love is

    it smarts
    most always
    it does that

    I enjoyed reading your poem

You never know if what you feel for another will be returned. Your words were so emotively written. Flow on poet.
