CL Bryant partners with black leaders to bring Runaway Slave to theatres. It's finally released and sold out in Louisiana. It's now in Atlanta, and Phillidelphia. The better it does, the quicker other theatres can pick it up. Features Alveda King.

    Get off the plantation!

    Atlanta's reaction.

    In the Spirit of Sankofa,

... Thanks for posting as a guest Marcel and welcome to Destee.com.

But the far Right Wing Politics of Rev. C L Bryant isn't my cup of tea. In fact, the good Rev. is a member of the Tea Party.

Along with the likes of folk of this persuasion throughout the movie, just to name a few below:

    Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson

    Herman Cain

    Glen Beck

    Congressman Allen West

Roland Martin Confronts Rev. C.L. Bryant For Criticizing Rev. Sharpton & Rev. Jackson

Former NAACP leader accuses Sharpton and Jackson of ‘exploiting’ Trayvon Martin

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”
“His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.
The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”
