Best Nollywood Movie I have seen from now A-MUST-SEE:
In the Spirit of Sankofa and Truth!
Simply excellent Seneb, I'm taken away with the Royal Palace.
I've been up all night watching and still have part 3 to go.
I KNOW it will be good over evil....happens everytime.
One other thing that was validated for me from the jump...
DA MESSAGE IS IN DA MUSIC......
ALL DAY....EVERY DAY....
THANKS SO MUCH SENEB FOR SHARING THIS....
If you really want to see a battle of good and evil, check this one out; there's a playlist with 20 clips in all....
In the Spirit of Sankofa and Truth!
Likewise true, I truly enjoyed it and couldn't stop watching.
I just finished to the end! BlacKTasTic indeed..
I could not help cept wonder..if our tendency towards "forgiving" in the face of e.v.i.l. shall continue to be the downfall that is never ending.
At what point is it JUST to kill off the e.v.i.l.:?:
I can only image the continued hatred and attempts at righting perceived wrongs continuing. It began with his (Sansom) mother and extended. Despite the forgiveness granted her, she supported her sons in doing more of the same.
I don't see any good coming out of the sparing of their lives..none....
There was too much work, lies and deception involved and that hatred will not be quenched.
We too as a people have 'forgiven' the european and at each chance they get, they show and prove ill will against us. Yet we grant them new mercies daily.
At what point does it end and how:?: This is what I'm left to ponder/meditate on.
I'd love to see a sequel with the continued happy ending presented here.
Thanks again for Sharing!
Thanks SiS Blacklioness..
I WILL look at this as well....I've GOT TO get over to the Afreekan store that sells movies. We do have several here in philly. I'd like to have them available for the youth in my family.
That is the point of religious brainwashing....it allows evil to perpetuate itself when it abuses the concept of forgiveness. Forgiveness has to be used selectively and with limitation, otherwise it's like opening Pandora's box. If you watch the ending of that second movie, you'll see exactly why it needs to be kept in check.
Just make sure to ask them if you have ALL the parts...nothing worse than getting wrapped up in a plot only to find out there were 6 other parts!!
Yes i understand what you mean. When i saw that i say to myself "if it was me i would get them cats killed for all the evils they did to, me".But after reflection i take this for what it is: a movie with messages.I don't know if you ever listen to african tales, because this movie script is like a tale to me.What are the messages? There are many,in my views. The more interesting are at first is "as you sow, so you shall reap":The King has forsaken his children and wife for nonsense. He paid the price by having egocentric sons and by feeling very lonely, all of this cause by its stupid decision. He finally understood the cause of his sorrow when he find his son,Chimobi. He realized its mistake by proclaiming Chimobi as his heir, and by making Chimobi's mother his favorite wife.
Then, the second message is forgiveness.I won't lie,it's hard to forgive such evil acts,i don't think i would forgive my brother. But the problem is that we as a race of people, are very spiteful against one another, and most of time for minor problems. But we have no rancor against the devil for what he done and still doing on us.We need to love each other and not the devil. Our love and forgiveness is for our people ,not for the devils.I think that forgivness is a very powerful gift that God give to a human being.Chimobi is Ausar,Joseph,Yeshua.
If i have to chose one more message,i would say HOPE.The song that Chimobi sings is crucial(**** that song will stay on my mind for a while!).His mother taught him this song when he was sad about his father, which make the sadness disappear:The very same song help him to find his father;it help him to save his life and find his future Queen! In this context of Hope,Chimobi is like JOB of the Bible.
