Whay's the problem, my kindred?
Why does the love 4 self remain hidden?
Is it because we were uprooted from the land that
gave us life's sustenance...
Transported & transplanted in foreign soil
& forced 2 toil with no pay?
Helplessly watch as they sold away our fathers, mothers,
sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, & grands...
Taught that we were only 3/5 of a man...
And death was the only reward 4 those who planned 2 withstand
the forces that were & be?

Then, after we were freed, we uprooted ourselves deeper
from our families & our New World history.
Cuz we had 2 feel free.
So we moved 2 the Northern cities where our roots
withered & died in the streets cuz we had 2 compete against us
& them 2 feed our seeds & Earths.
Our needs were worse than before, cuz here we were,
in a strange area in this hostile land...
Alone...
Prone 2 those who'd take advantage as soon as
the chance was presented.
Demented mindsets became the way & hardened became our hearts.
Instead of building a rapport with our kindred, we slowly drifted apart.
Until our village became apart-ments.

But we've come this far with very little assistance
from any outside forces,
Although we've faced much resistance from they who tried
2 turn us aside from our divinely designed courses...
We've survived.
Yet we still have a long way 2 go & many goals 2 keep persuin'.
We need 2 re-embrace the race & have a massive family re-union.
Get re-aquainted with us.

Re-new our minds which have been tainted with mistrust.

And become our brothers' keepers.

*Just sittin back admiring the beauty of your soul and mind...*
*placed before me in the form of poetry*....
*Aaaaah...it is a wonderful thing*

Bro. $$, imagine the obstacles that could be overcome if only we all believed so. Thank U.

watz., in my time away, I've gone on a wonderful journey into my mind & spoke with ideas that have been long unheard. I just wasn't listening before. Thank U 4 the read. Peace.

Sweet sister sage, your words make my heart, mind, and soul do somersaults together. I humbly thank U 4 the feel.
