SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Ten years ago, Ronald Reagan (news - web sites) spoke poignantly about his diagnosis of Alzheimer's, calling it "the journey that will lead me into the sunset of my life." On Monday, his family prepared for his last journey, one that will take his remains to the Capitol and then to his final resting place in California.

His body was to be moved Monday from a Santa Monica funeral home to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Following a private ceremony, it will lie in repose at the library through Tuesday night, giving Reagan's fellow Californians a chance to pay their final respects to the man who was their governor from 1967 to 1975.

Not an admirer of Ron Reagan and many of the things that happened on his watch as gov. of California and pres. of USA, His judgement like everyone elses is in the hands of the Creator and will be just and sure......

And surely our Creator knows best.....

That would make me feel a whole lot better. Thanks Queen :thanks:

We can only hope. They are wasting so much time on Reagan...for what? I'd rather hear about J-Lo's wedding...now that's bad if I'd rather hear about that. :puke:

That's rediculous. Is Sportscenter telling me Reagan's death is more important than the score from the Lakers/ Detroit game? I think not.

Plus, it's more air for us. I live in Cali, so I could use the extra air with all the pollution in L.A. :D

I write this memeorial in deep sincere sorrow and agony. My heart pains and i even find myself shedding tears...over the fact that he died 93 years too late. I can not find the words to reflect the misery and pain I feel within myself...over all of us who suffered with his birth into this world.

    Respectfully in Tears LMBAO.
