Romancing you again
enticing you into love's lair
I draw a lavender perfumed bath
for you, and strip your inhibitions bare
Climbing into this aromatic pool,
I struggle in vain not to stare
As your caramel skin becomes submerged,
you relax as the water takes you there
sans care...
I romance you again, as I read you
sonnets that I have yet to share
with another living soul, for my words are your
words, speaking of the one heart that we bear.
I gently cleanse your body, slowly lathering
every inch, then proceed to wash your hair.
Closing your eyes while I massage and rinse your
scalp, you sigh and say nothing can quite compare
to romancing you again. As we share a kiss,
mesmerized am I that I'm taken quite unaware
by the playful tug that sends me splashing into
that tub right with you. What a zany pair
we are, laughing, frolicking, then resuming
that kiss, that inexplicable bliss, of this affair.
As I continue to romance you, beloveth, again,
and again, and....again.....
