Strive for abstention
And "right intention" (1)

As in a noble mind wrought
With "right thought" (2)

Be careful to teach
Employed with "right speech" (3)

Let wits never desert
Instilling "right effort" (4)

With whole not by fraction
Applying "right acton" (5)

Receiving by giving
Through "right living" (6)

Unfeared mortality
With "right reality" (7)

Never doubting but commanding
Assured "right understanding" (8)

Never to foolishness succumb
Adhering to "right wisdom" (9)

For a bygone people
Numbers played a major role
Every aspect under digit control
As 9 parts even divided one's soul

Back then, even the much maligned 13
Wasn't deemed obscene
But rather denoted Re-Birth
It was only later when other men
Changed its worth

These are the Nine Principles of Right
Many embraced and met
A living, daily reminder not to forget
And today, many civilizations
Are patterned after
The spirituality....Of ancient Kemet.​
