The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained and equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the right-brain ones. Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis, and accuracy. Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity.

    LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS:

    uses logic
    detail oriented
    facts rule
    words and language
    present and past
    math and science
    can comprehend
    knowing
    acknowledges
    order/pattern perception
    knows object name
    reality based
    forms strategies
    practical
    safe

    RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS:

    uses feeling
    "big picture" oriented
    imagination rules
    symbols and images
    present and future
    philosophy & religion
    can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
    believes
    appreciates
    spatial perception
    knows object function
    fantasy based
    presents possibilities
    impetuous
    risk taking

    That was....

    Interesting!

At first look, I saw counter-clockwise. When it was restarted, I saw clockwise.
At some point, I was beginning to see both....back and forth like.

I recognize a high level of both qualities in myself....both extremely analytical and creative! a healthy enough balance for me to appear totally chaotic :D

Are you dominate in either area SiS. Soul:?:

U have a good balance there sis True.

At first I see it going clockwise but like you I am able to switch it to both ways. I do this by not looking directly at it and allowing my mind to switch it back and forth. But I would say that I am more right-brain as each time I do look at it first off it's always spinning clockwise.

My PC being real slow 2day. Can't get these lil smilies to work. But you did strike me as being left-brained Sis Zee with your somewhat analytical mind... nothing don't pass you girl. lol. But if u look slightly away from the image so u can just see it at the corner of your eye, and really believe and envisage it spinning in the opposite direction, it will when you look at it again.

Have another go...u can do it...it's all in the mind. Work your magick sis lol

    Excellent!!!! wooo hooooo!!!!

I followed your instruction and out of the corner of my eye saw her spinning clockwise... now even looking at it directly I see it, AND I can switch direction without even blinking or pausing. Cool ;)
