both of these cats are incredible.. inspiring.. I've been playing Bass almost
exclusively for the past 10 days or so.. I'm working on a solo bass led kind of
sound.. but using the bass as a melodic instrument instead of just the bottom..
sort of like Richard Bona is doing here.. I play acoustic bass out in public and
folks are always amazed at the sound of the bass.. the bass is just a warm
beautiful instrument.. and it can do so much more than it is usually used for..
it can lead.. and support.. play melody and harmony.. and there's something
about it that can make you move your body.. it's really a perfect instrument..
