If "Revlon" stood for "Revolution", I'd want to be the girl on a magazine cover
I'd wear it proudly everyday and have no shame strutting down a runway.
I'd want to be that face on TV promoting revolution and how beautiful it can be...
It's too bad that revolution would have to be all made up and pretty for us to pay attention to it

If I could buy time at JCPenney's for 50% off, I'd buy enough to last me for eternity
I'd reverse the clock and give Egypt back her riches and Africa, her dignity
I'd probably go back to the beginning and slap the **** out of Adam and Eve
Then I'd come back to the modern age and give time freely to those suffering from HIV..
And I'd probably take back Bush's presidency...
But those are just some of the things I'd do with my time
It's a **** shame that time would have to be bought in order for us to spend it wisely

If I could grow peace in my backyard, I don't know whether I'd plant their seeds in Iraq, Afghanistan, or the U.S.
What I would do is plant a tree on every city block, in every project, in Congress, the Senate, and the House of Representatives
I'd export it to the Middle East, China, North and South Korea
And make this earth one big Garden of Eden...
But, I've got to face reality...
If peace did grow on trees there would be folks trying to roll up the leaves and smoke themselves into the 21st century
They'd grind the seeds into a powder and snort it
Or extract the nectar and put it in needles to inject themselves with...
    All hail the peace pipe

If this world were mine, I'd sell it to God as a timeshare seeing that Good and Evil can't reside in the same place at the same time
In return, I'd only ask for little bits of heaven in small doses because I understand I'd have to earn my place there
It's a pity that God and the human race can't share the same planet when the devil just bought a condo down in South Beach
And he's chillin' near the water making bonfires and drinking martinis

I know that by now you see where I'm going with this
Anything with any type of purity or positivity cannot effectively exist
Because this world has to materialize it, monopolize it, manipulate it, and manufacture it into something it's not meant to be
If it can't be smoked, bought, f***ed, downloaded, pillaged, regenerated, laughed at, sold, or exploited, then it can't thrive here

    Welcome to the Click-n-Save generation
Where everything can be done by some type of technical means
Soon robots will be giving birth because it exudes too much energy from corporate mothers too busy climbing that ladder to raise children
Humans spend more time coming up with new ways to entertain themselves than figuring out ways to slow down the Greenhouse Effect
You search for ways to make life easier, but have the nerve to ask, "Whatever happened to the good ol' days?"
We're all running the same race at different speeds to have the power of life and death at the mercy of our index finger and remote control-CLICK

If I take one step forward, but retract two steps back, then how much have I advanced
    2 steps in regression
We're advancing technologically but we're regressing in the fundamentals of hard work and common sense
We're becoming lazy, self-righteous, sycophants who care nothing about the world or the state of humanity
If you're asking yourself, "What does this have to do with me," then you have just confirmed the normal ideologies of mankind
But I'm not gonna lose my mind trying to explain things to you
Why don't you go download the info from the Internet or wait for the TV special to catch a clue...
