at a point in time
one must return to self

learn to respect
oneself rather than
place her man upon a shelf
this heart is sacred territory
to search and find a hidden
treasure u must first
get to know me don't ever
control me

allow me to run free
live happily as a bee
prancing flower to flower
in search of a honey tree
instead to find a home
a place nice and warm
cozy up on a shelf
with each and every passing
moment

returning to one self
