The purpose of freedom is to have respect,
to people around you, and to those you neglect,
    respect is not a right,and it's not a privilege,
to respect the people who we need the most.

As one leader rises and stands,
god has the power to do all things,
to the people who fought for our freedom,
respect is given within all things.

 Hands waving...respect is becoming a rare thing these days. I hope that we gain it back before long...especially for each other.

This poem speaks volumes. Welcome to the forum.
