the near north
Give your lady her PROPS
24 hours a day
not because she spoiled you
or did it your way

when the system is calling
you don’t know what to do
she’ll cover yo’ ***
she’s righteous and true

RESPECT

When you’re drowning in troubles
Struggling to survive
“hey, baby, I’m here
straight up
no lie”

RESPECT

After a hard day’s work
For a sorry *** boss
You come home stressing
Over nothing at all
She realizes your problem
Run you a hot bath
Candle lights
Music low
She’ll even wash yo’ tired ***

RESPECT

I’m not playing in yo’ bizniz
I know you got it like that
But when you climb from under that boulder
Recognize where you’re at
Take a glance to your left
At who be riding on your arm
Give her PROPS and much RESPECT
Let her know she’s number 1

When it’s her time to struggle
Going through a bad hair day
When you’re fed up with the gossip
Of what Harry has to say
When Martha and Leroy
Comes running your way
Saying, “watch out, Dawg
your lady wanna play”

Don’t listen to their ****
Or any of them fools
When your lady says it’s not true
Tell her: “baby, it’s cool”

BE A MAN

STAND UP FOR YOUR LADY.

It's a lot going on and I know I have not been here for a long time but it is about to change.
