    "Jump, Girl! Jump!" They held
    The biscuit over my head
    I just walked away

I love all these perspectives on my theme!

    Self respect shines bright
    Work with diligence and grace
    The world will catch on

    Sriving for glory
    To impress turned up noses
    Crushes the spirit

"you will miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take
    "
You will not achieve any of the goals you cast away
Nor win any of the games you don't play

    You Got My Respect Sistah!

I certainly have much respect for the mind from which these haikus are written. Your work is astounding. I also read these below and the mouth of my soul dropped open...

    Grass grows from the dirt
    Green poking through the concrete
    Stronger than cement

    Richer than coffee
Grinds in the harvest of trash
    Nature claims its own

    Like the brown skinned man
And that ace of spades black bro
    Strengthened by hardships

    Nourished by ashes
    Trampled under thoughtless feet
    They still find the sun

    Enjoyed my reads
