The GOP has no ethics anyway, so I guess they figured: "why the need for an ethics committee?"

We know this means they're clearing the way for Trump and the GOP to do any and every corrupt action they can think of. We thought Nixon was bad? This administration is about to make Nixon look like Mother Theresa. Hold on to your hats folks. We're in for a bumpy 4 year ride.

House Republicans, Under Fire, Back Down on Gutting Ethics Office

Lawmakers, facing a storm of bipartisan criticism, including from President-elect Donald J. Trump, reversed their steps against the Office of Congressional Ethics.

WASHINGTON — House Republicans, facing a storm of bipartisan criticism, including from President-elect Donald J. Trump, moved early Tuesday afternoon to reverse their plan to kill the Office of Congressional Ethics. It was an embarrassing turnabout on the first day of business for the new Congress, a day when party leaders were hoping for a show of force to reverse policies of the Obama administration.

They only reversed it because Trump told them to. They don't care about pressure from us. If they did they wouldn't have done it to begin with. SMH

Ethics and Trump is an oxymoron. They simply don't go together; they are opposites on the same spectrum. The Trumps will attempt to lead us out of the ethical dark ages into an era where ethics will be redefined and it won't look anything like we currently know it. We've seen more of Melania than I care to have seen. And, The Donald? Mr. Grab them by the ***** Trump? Pffft

Ethics? Some politicians are having wet dreams imagining all that they used to desperately try and hide or cover up, that they will now be able to do publicly and without consequences. All major religions might soon follow the way of the dinosaur because they too will be in conflict with the new ethic standards that will sell lying, cheating, abusing and stealing as virtues.
