    Ph*ck slavery
I want my reparations for the **** I am putting up with today
    Personally I want my reparations
    Not from slavery
But from the inherent discriminations of today
    I want reparations
    Not from slavery
But for the hiring practices of today
I want multi trillion dollar companies
    That have warehoused my people
Stuck a cigarette add on every billboard in the hood
And a liquor store on every corner
And a cop nowhere to be found
    I want my reparations
From the government that watched with a knowing eye
While multi trillion dollar financial institutions SYSTEMATICALLY
Red lined anyone of color who dared to improve
While every other color or non color could find there groove if they wanted to move
    I want reparations
For the deliberate infiltration of crack and guns in the neighborhood
My neighborhood not Mr. Rogers neighborhood
    Only my neighborhood
I want reparations for the deliberate infiltration
Of non black businesses in the hood making sure our dollar only goes one way
    AWAY !
I want reparations from a government that financed
A multi trillion dollar Chain Store knowing full well that their practices of “Dumping”
not trash but goods in “rural neighborhoods”
was basically up to no good
    I want reparations
For all the children whose daddy is doing time
In a “criminal system” where dark skin tones equal double time for the exact same crime
I want reparations for a system
    Who’s
    Strategies of impoverish and feed
    Eliminate daddies from the family
I want reparations from a system that automatically
    Assumes me guilty
    And strike three
    Is reserved just for me
I want reparations for this here current society
    I WANT REPORATIONS
    CAUSE U STILL SCREWING
    ME

I do not mean to do disservice to say ***** the ills of the past
but That **** is just That
    In the past
I don’t even want an apology
just quit screwing me here and now
    now I will never forget
but If you pull it out
    I will move on

    Shaz,
I won't begin to put words in your mouth, but I believe I truly feel where you're coming from.
Reparation may be all good, but what about the unfair treatment going on NOW...
WE see it, THEY see it. THE WORLD sees it. African Americans live it and it is broadcasted on TV DAILY for those who may not live it.
YEARS and YEARS have passed and America still hasn't come correct....when I hear a statement like....
"it wasn't me who enslaved YOU people, it was my ancestors" They are GONE and We are still being oppressed (BY WHO?)....it's just legalized methods.
