When the Jews questioned Jesus on paying taxes to the Romans, he answered, "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's".
Most churches use this as a meaning that we should pay our income taxes, however Jesus gave this answer to avoid being caught in a catch 22 situation by the Jews. Does this still mean we should pay incomes taxes? What are your beliefs on this?
