    His
    Blazing fire eyes
    burning the flesh
    of trial and tribulation
    never waited on the time
    to help him determine
    his every move
    living the name
    of a King
    Darius
    Jacob
    Ishmeal
    Abraham
    Issac
    Joseph
    Jesus
    he
    is the son
    of ll prophets
    he
    is the combined
    breaths and flesh of
    laborers
    slaves and
    Africans
    beating the pavement
    of the street
    knowing in the back of
    his
    mind this society
    is not made for us
    a
    honey brown kiss
    of black power
    another soldier
    lost before
    revolution
    so now we will
    call on our ancestors to
    take his hand
    and renounce this
    King
    to give him a
    throne
    this
    world
    could
    not
    provide.

*Legacy lights a candle in remembrance* Miss, I am feeling this piece deeply. I have seen so many brothers of this beauty in the city of Detroit fall victim to an untimely death or to the streets and my heart cries for them, but through dedications like this their memory shall endure in our hearts. Peace unto you.
