Quiet Poetry Lounge : remembering april 2nd

I held out my hand
That I might
sAvOr
The memory of a dying leaf
A thief
Stole the soul
Of the breeze that carried it
And gave it to me

I
Treasure
The moon’s glow at midnight
…The sun’s warmth at dawn
When wisdom of eternities
Rise…to greet us

I
Am
Blessed

Blessed by arms that embrace me
…hearts that hold me
Love that cherishes me
Air that breathes me
Believe me

There is no one more needy than me

I watch the day

I caress the night

I write.

Ah, Dear Brother Poet Baller,

You always write the perfect poem to comfort my soul. Thank you for this slice of beauty that allowed me to remember while crying a cleansing cry. You are a treasure, my friend.
