Remember when
love was innocent
eyes meet
and greet
with a feeling so pure
ready to explore
the very
essence
of being
in love

Remember when
holding hands
created blush
turned the tough
to mush
and love was
such a rush
that ur whole heart could trust

Remember when

Remember when
the heart of love
only burned
enough to warm
a woman who had been scorned
love could reverse
a heart withdrawn
and give
a reason
to go on

Remember when
even just one
second
within the grasp of love
was the best second
and felt like
such a gift from up above

Remember when
your hearts' content
was the love
of your life
your wife
or the man of your dreams
life without out them was the end
although
this setiments extreme

Remember when
one side
of your mind
lied
and
said
you
couldn't carry on

but remember
love was the very thing
you were running from

Remember you are love
so
Stop running from yourself

you are love
nobody else
