i live in TushKauLoosa Ali Baba or Tuscaloosa, Ala
Occupation
construction
all the whips and lashes wounds and deep gashes
stitches, staples, and scabs from gunshots and stabs
we barely over half, just 3/5s a man
we tilled the land to put millions in the hand
of Uncle Sam and Tom got his cut as well
while slave's backs had whelps and cotton-picking fingers swelled
we were jailed given Heaven and Hell with no choice
no water in the well throat moist with no voice
to say 'We mourn you' everyday
Not only in February but, annually
thank Martin and Malcolm for a better day
Someone Xed our Kings
and turned slaves into fiends
remember the dream

Remebring The Dream
Gets Hardr ith each Scream
Each of Those dreams
Gets overturns with a Steam
A color
A Perm
and a Wish to be the Dream
A Wish to Be Beyonce
Or someone of the Music Stream
THe Dream was my dream
But now Our Dreams are weak
We must dream of Money
or our Lives will have no mean
Living the Dream
THe dream of Millions
But Catching the Sparkile of One
May change our Status Quotus
Ressurect The Dream
