I recall the days when we lived together in high spirits
Now it seems as if we are residing on two different planets
I call out for you and my voice just fades…
I reach over to touch you and all that’s there is empty space
My honesty was never a question
    Justly remaining my faithfulness,
    I don’t deserve this ****!
I’m drowning in insecurities and untrustworthy thoughts
Because you’ll be “home by eight”, but yet its twelve o’clock
Remember me embracing you and we would fall asleep in unison,
Now I just lie here clenching your 8 x 10
    As my mind search back,
For that patient, protection and affection that we once shared
Now my only companion is memory lane because that’s all I have left
    How
    When
    Where
    Did our love dissolve?
The magic just isn’t what it once was
Time displays signs of my foolishness,
Reminding me that you’re not coming back
I’ve accepted your deception just to keep you in my life
    Remember me?
    The one who loves you
