Black Poetry : remember 9/11

i live in TushKauLoosa Ali Baba or Tuscaloosa, Ala
As I rummage through the ruins, I find nothing but remnants
maybe a badge, a charm, a pendant nothing else for remberance
The FDNY emblem lays charred in the remains
echoes of hurt and pain reverberate throughout my brain
molten metal drains from pipes from one tragic day, there's sleepless nights
rest in peace to each brave knight that fought that final fight
for those who saw that plane in flight and froze like blocks of ice
to your families I shed tears and wipe the morn I watched you die
to those who dived and wished they could fly, may your souls rest
each day I know I'm blessed so, there's condolence to express
all the theories, conspiracies, and threats the fear, terror, and death
A lot of people forget there's thousands without a breath..
to say 'We miss you' everyday
since September 11 I haven't felt the same way
