Omowale Jabali : Religious Myths vs Ancient Knowledge

From what I have studied and from my own experience, I have tended to lean towards Eshu/Elegua myself.

http://ezinearticles.com/?Orisha-Elegua&id=627709

This comes from the following description:

Eleggua / Elegua: Messenger, Opener of the Way, Trickster

Aunbis, or what I refer as Anup Ophis, literally means "Opener of the Way".

I know.. but i got stuck on the Esu being the Orisha of the crossroads that place between the physical and spirit world...

Whereas Anubis (if i'm correct) deals strictly with the Dead, the underworld... i think he escorts the spirit of the dead to be judged..and embalms them or something

Well Oya is the same.... other than the Thunder thing she is the only Orisha who deals with the dead:court: the others are apparently afraid:10500: and she escorts and guards the spirit of the dead during their journey to Orun...

so I donno know..leaning towards her...

still working on it though ...just wanted to get your input..cheers:toast:

oh and her colors are red and black
