if memory serves -- eye remember the lying lore of the by ble utterly destroying the "tree of life" (eg. inner self) in the first chapter -- which, of course, erases all 9 inner layers of self, b4 ever reaching the ""physical" body --which is the last manifestation --but then, religion and bible babble are "left" sided Western-thinking constructs --thus the disconnect...!

Yeah, I do have issues with religious absolutism and exclusivity, and people so locked up in it. And the politics connected to it, like the rubbish I wrote to you about, that fellow who claims all Democrats and progressives are atheists and conservative Republicans are so pure of heart with their "family values." Well, dear friend, you get the drift as I tend to learn these things from you, and I re-state them from my own "fine" perspectives. (whew, talk about play on words!!)

The origin of this proper noun known as "Religion" must first be defined by breaking down its respective parts and then searching for the true meaning according to its origin.

Prefix: "Re-" (eg. the word prefix means "to set up in front")
Suffix: "-legere" (eg. the word suffix means "added to the end")

The word origin of its prefix "re-" (eg. latin) is two-fold, and means a previous condition such as "back" or "backward" and also means a repetition of action to indicate "again" or "again and again"according to dictionary.com

Examples:
1.other words that relate to "a previous condition" include: renew, retrace
2.other words that relate to a repetition of an action are: recopy, remarry

The word origin of its suffix comes down to us from: "ligare - to bind fast" (eg. p. 118, Metu Neter, Vol 1) - or "legere - to read"

Thus, according to its combined prefix and its suffix the origin of the noun "Religion" comes to mean: "state of life bound by monastic vows," also "conduct indicating a belief in a divine power, circa 1200, Anglo-French --according to the online etymology dictionary.

Now let's define the word:

1. According to Websters online dictionary the word "religion" is defined, thus:

: the belief in a god or in a group of gods
: an organized system of beliefs...used to worship a god or a group of gods
: an interest...or an activity that is very important to a person or group

2. Also noted is this definition: "...Middle English (originally in the sense ‘life under monastic vows’): from Old French, or from Latin religio(n-) ‘obligation, bond, reverence,’ perhaps based on Latin religare ‘to bind..." - Source

3. And, finally from the online Oxford Dictionary:

"...The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially an personal god or god(s..."

Eye chose this "meme" because it ties quite nicely to the fact that the true perception of what "religion" is involves more than the worlds' (eg. especially the Western worlds') display of an outward "show" by song/dance/praise and worship --which, of course, relates more to an empty wagon making noise rather than a sound locomotive staying on track. What is missing is the "inner" consciousness of (wo)man based on her/his self recognition of her/his own level of spiritual maturity. This process is "not" eye repeat "not" an outward progression of tamborine noise yet rather a developing, evolving inward achievement thru trance/meditation thereby waking up her/his currently sleeping layers of self. Unfortunately, the "lying lore of the bye-ble" has done its job at shutting down this once vibrant and right-sided virture of (w0)man. Yet, logic will tell you that what has been mistakenly and haphazardly put together can surely be torn down (eg. an example would be the thought, time and expense that is put into making a toy that once given to an infant or child can then be torn apart in matter of minutes).

You must realize that you are more than just a physical body because your physical body is just the end result of an inner manifestation matched with the CREATOR of all things. And that is why eye am able to intuit, discern and then say:

"...if memory serves -- eye remember the lying lore of the by ble utterly destroying the "tree of life" (eg. inner self) in the first chapter -- which, of course, erases all 9 inner layers of self, b4 ever reaching the ""physical" body --which is the last manifestation --but then, religion and bible babble are "left" sided Western-thinking constructs --thus the disconnect!..."

And because eye know that spirituality (eg. "not religion -- which is a male-dominated construct") --trumps religion by hundreds of thousands of years; is a right-sided thinking process; eye see clearly the irony of the left-sided reaction vis-a-vie religion (eg. singing/dancing/praising and worshiping) for what it truly is --a failure to rise above the basic animal nature of (wo)man that currently feeds off of karnal knowledge rather than absorbs the bountiful, endless esoteric knowledge of self that is most closest to the CREATOR of all things --most especially (wo)man.

In Summary, one must use logic, reasoning, common sense and critical thinking to erase the emotional and mental stagnation(s) of faith, belief, hope --since religion has failed to provide adequate mental protection and coverage to promote and restore our inner well being back to its original state of being.
