In my father's house there is many mansions.
How long do I have to wait before I recieve this fulfillment.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light.
They wouldn't label him pure until they painted him white.
Been brain washed before my mind was able to concieve it.
Shaped and molded my every move just to make me fit in.
Now I'm lost in reality unable to find my way.
Aren't we living like slaves even now today.
We've been taught to go to church and pay our dues.
Jesus will bless us we're not being used.
Can't pay your bills or put food on the table
But Jesus will make away he is able.
Pastors wearin armani suits and drivin lexuses and benz
While you stravin you self just to pay his ends
They livin lovely while your sufferin
What happened to helping and sharing with your brothern

Assalamu Flaikum Peace be unto you
the honorable Ellijah Mumhamed teaches us to choose.
Choose between the white man's filth and all it's glories
or follow Allah and muhameds prophcies.
Women cover your bodies and men treat them right.
Make as many babies as you can and have many wives
You are the manyou run the show.
What ever you say must go.
We must unify to build this black community.
We must instill pride in our black kids it's our duty.
Islam will free you and make you whole
Just don't break away from it's control
Preach allah's word and follow the prophets teachings
Just don't become a powerful speaker
Malcolm X worked hard and did as he was told
And the ended his life because they lost their hold.

Hail Mary the Holy mother of Jesus Christ
Confess all of your sins to me child, give the holy mother your strife
Be an alter boy and get raped
God has chosen you this is your fate
There's nothing wrong with the preist feelin you up.
Your working for the church God's fillin your cup
Many may ask what is religion
I say, just another way to be imprisioned
Read your bible and pray everyday
Wouldn't want to be tarnished by the world's ways
Many Surrender themselves to the upmost high
and are lead by the devil in disguise
Is religion really the way to live your life
or was it made to be an empowering device
Slave owners used it all over the world
History books lie so how do I choose what's real?

Nothing wrong with expressing how you feel! Thats what poetry and spoken word is all about, You got your opinions just like we all do.... I hea Ya!!!! Keep expressing yourself.

I guess I am one of the ones who you might say have bought into the lie, I Just happen to love the Lord and from my own life he has brought me from hell to a life of living, but its my faith that allows God to operate in my life, and take me to new levels and with that does come new devils!!!!!

I can't stop believing because Gods giving me a forreal reason....

Peace to ya!

I love God and i'm very spiritual. I'm not saying God or being spiritual is a lie. God is constantly working on me and in my life. I am criticizing religion and the way I grew up being taught religion. My mother was a saintified Christian who went to church everyday of the week and my dad was a strong Muslim, who followed the Karan word by word. Many people confuse religion and being spiritual as the same, and it's not. Religion is a way of life. Being spiritual is a feeling you have when you submitt your self to a higher power and you believe in that power. If you don't practice that religion, the connection and spiritual relationship you have with the higher power you belive in, will always be there. I wrote this poem when I realized everyone is worshipping the same God. Yeah the stories are messed up and every one believe in a different prophet or what have you, but no matter what any one say no one knows what story is right we can only belive in what we think is right. This poem is not targetting everyone who is religious, so please when reading this Keep the title in mind. This poem is not about spirituality it's about religion.
