Hey everyone! I am a graduate student at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and we are running a number of studies on intimate/marital relationships that I think some of you may be interested in. Some of the aspects of relationships we are interested in are: communication, conflict, personality, sexuality, satisfaction, and the newlywed years. I have provided a description of each of the studies below as well as contact information for the principal investigator. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me! Thank you in advance for your time and consideration:)

Does this study concentrate on black relationships? Are you a black person? Why should the members of this forum participate, and what interest does it hold for us?

I wouldn't have bothered, I don't appreciate being studied, especially by non-black people (it is insulting). However, everyone is free to do what they want.

I don't know if it is a scam. I think that you are participating in something which you don't know the true purpose of (which is something that I personally wouldn't do).
