i waited on tha block
4 my father 2 come
thru
i watch the drunks dance
with they bottle
like a sweet summa romance
i look across the street
into the vacant lot
watch kids my age
pop
fly balls
with sticks and rocks
rounding the tire bases
remember images of
shock
abuses like a movie
fists and fingers
hittin faces
auguments and cryin
2 early after midnight
why he sell your dream ma?
for a rock?
twisted cause it's my business
written into my emotions
like heiroglyphics
so who do i look up to?
be specific
take sprinkles of men
i c God again
life ain't always feelin heavenly
Father
may i repent
my life revolves around
gettin bent
and for the people original
to see freedom again
i take in faith
the knowledge you touch
in my hand
blow it softly
i see cosmoses
galleries of oddities
and patterns of perfection
no misdirection
