Peace and Blessings Family,

I'm not really up on politics, but can't help but see the dialogue about the refusal to raise the debt ceiling for President Obama again, as has been done many times for other Presidents in the past.

According to this article : Debt Ceiling Under Modern US Presidents

Congress has tinkered with the debt ceiling, the statutory limit on amount of money the United States government is authorized to borrow to meet its legal obligations, a grand total of 78 times since 1960 - 49 times under Republican presidents and 29 times under Democratic presidents.

What do you think? Is it just time to stop doing this, and the fact that he's Black, coincidence?

Love You!

Yes.

I feel they are doing everything they can to make Obama look bad. If he says right, they have to say left, and so on. They still can't come to grips with the fact that a black man came almost out of nowhere, and became president. A black man who was a one-term Ill. senator entered the 2008 presidential primaries, and beat household names as Hillary Clinton, and John Edwards is too much for them to handle.

Peace!

To Moments & Musings...

“When reportedly intelligent men and women at this level can't solve the debt crisis they and their colleagues (both past and present) have created ... when these reportedly intelligent men and women elected to the highest offices in the land, don't know how to lower the debt ceiling and solve a debt dilemma deleterious to the financial health of this nation (simultaneously): Then these same men and women are either incompetent—liars—or incompetent liars. In which case, they should voluntarily step down and resign from office.” - (Lokman)
