    Peace and Blessings Family,

I'm not really up on politics, but can't help but see the dialogue about the refusal to raise the debt ceiling for President Obama again, as has been done many times for other Presidents in the past.

According to this article : Debt Ceiling Under Modern US Presidents

Congress has tinkered with the debt ceiling, the statutory limit on amount of money the United States government is authorized to borrow to meet its legal obligations, a grand total of 78 times since 1960 - 49 times under Republican presidents and 29 times under Democratic presidents.

What do you think? Is it just time to stop doing this, and the fact that he's Black, coincidence?

    Love You!

    Yes.

I feel they are doing everything they can to make Obama look bad. If he says right, they have to say left, and so on. They still can't come to grips with the fact that a black man came almost out of nowhere, and became president. A black man who was a one-term Ill. senator entered the 2008 presidential primaries, and beat household names as Hillary Clinton, and John Edwards is too much for them to handle.

    Peace!

    To Moments & Musings...

“When reportedly intelligent men and women at this level can't solve the debt crisis they and their colleagues (both past and present) have created ... when these reportedly intelligent men and women elected to the highest offices in the land, don't know how to lower the debt ceiling and solve a debt dilemma deleterious to the financial health of this nation (simultaneously): Then these same men and women are either incompetent—liars—or incompetent liars. In which case, they should voluntarily step down and resign from office.” - (Lokman)

Brother Lokman ... haaaaaaaaaaaaaay ...

Thank you for the kind words ... i love reading you ... glad that you are pleased ... YAAAAAY!!!

Brother ... based on the above, all politicians that have ever been, should step down.

It sounds like you have little or no confidence in the political system, which is kinda where i am too.

They are not going to step down, if history is any indicator, and we're left to muse their behavior.

Just like we're doing ... and i thank you for doing it with me ...

Though i do think they should let Obama have the same considerations as those before him.

    Love You!

    "can't solve the debt crisis"

There is no debt crisis, it's really a game to drop many social services. So that the greedy can privatize many of these services for profit. It makes the government weaker and there will be fewer regulations toward fairness. We are being scammed again!

I think it's because there are too many hands up the same puppet backsides (both sides of the house, but it's disturbingly blatant in the GOP). These people are millionaires pretending to represent the regular folks, and they want more. They're not happy with the absurd amount of wealth and kickbacks their socioeconomic group has. They want everything; furthermore, they've managed to get the Tea Party to swallow it wholesale and fight for it at the their own expense.

    Enjoy the show.
