    Redemption

    You do things in life
    That you could never justify.
    You say things I hope
    You don't truly mean.
Sometimes you lie so it won't seem
    Like you're fragile or weak.
It's like falsities improve you're self esteem.
Soulfully you're not a healthy human being,
With a tainted conscience that will never be clean.
    But still you can appease
    Your soul to a degree.

    All it wants
    All it requires
    Is for you to try.
    For you to apologize
But this time look them in the eyes.
But mean it and not lie.
For you once in your life to be real
For once to truly act how you feel
    And to not overcompensate
And for you not to further complicate

    Because life is hard enough

That was pretty deep. I like how you aligned it all to the right too. Gave the impression that the person was backed into a corner and need to redeem themselves. Like it! :bball:

redemption's cause is to redeem what was lost, but when we try to piece together what was in shambles before we even layed a finger upon it, what can we do besides try to be a redeemer of lost causes that only causes us to lose ourself or maybe even our own cause in life as a result? I'm a fan or should I say viewer of yours...PeAcE
