Black Poetry : Red Roses for you....

I give you red roses…that grow yearly
Long stems that stretch like the nile,
You light my fire with each smile.
And I fear I don’t have enough roses to represent
What you have meant……to me.
Red roses, for sugar plum poses,
And Rudolphs red noses…..
Like classical music composes
A melody that is unique to me,
As it is to the sea
that flows from the east,
My feast
shall take me from famine,
And I continue to examine
my long lasting love for you.
All I have to show is….these Red roses…
That grow yearly.
I tried tulips….but they only come once a year, and then
Those tulip bulbs disappear
And there is no time to waste,
on a bitter taste,
so I try to be sweet
When it comes to you.
Roses with thorns that may *****
But they ***** to stick, so you won’t be slick
And try to trick your way to her heart
so the thorns ***** you from the start.
For the heart doesn’t lie,
and that’s why
I chose these Red Roses for you.
Red roses for you…..That grow yearly
And I love you dearly,
and a dozen would not describe
The warmth I have inside
So my feelings I confide…in you
with these Red
that I give to you.
For you are me and I am you
under the sun, and the crecent moon,
From now till the father’s son comes
we are here …we are one
With these red Roses.
I symbolize….me and you
and our life….under the sun.

Roses, for that special someone, seems like a dozen would do, but if its that SPECIAL PERSON, than I feel you, roses are only a start.

two roses on pillow,
i sleep with them,
soft refreshing,
two roses on pillow,
i sleep hugging them,
getting rough edges,
two roses on pillow,
i sleep beside them,
they curling strong,
two roses on pillow,
i sleep opposite of them,
they color darkens,
two roses on pillow,
i wrote a letter planted on top,
they stiffen more slightly,
two roses on pillow,
i didn't give two sistahs,
they blood chocolate now,
i love my two roses fore being strong,
while sleeping peacefully on pillow,
satisfied.
