Red Rose

He left roses before her. But she was cold toward them. He brought her cards and gifts, but she didn't respond to his shown affection. Yet, he gave her these things, every anniversary, with love. And he refused to stop laying them upon her grave, because he missed her so much.

Yes Clyde, I agree! Reminds me of how we mistreat the Jesus in others.

In just a few "lovely" lines, Angela22 almost brought me to joyful tears! Red Rose ... what an enjoyable read!

Angela22 would consider writing a sequel? Like ... ahhh ... Red Rose II or Ummm sumthin' ??? Can't wait!

Well, it did bring tears to my eyes Gracious, so much so, I had to forward a PM (private message) testimonial to Angela22, about the effect and how her words brought to mind, the mourning of my deceased, Libra born wife.
