Excuse Me!!! Is it okay by you, if I sit here and cry?

I mean, what are you lookin at? Can I have my face back, hell can I CRY??

Can I cry at this white line and die,

Right in the middle of this intersection, as I stand here before this red light

The red light of my life.

Im at the corner of “Nobody Loves Me” Lane, and “I Don’t Love Yall Either” Pkwy.

Can I breakdown right here, with a car to my left and too my right

    And just cry.

The rest of yall can zoom on by.

Pretending your headed to some real destination

    In your ride.

But for me. Right now (and I mean right now).... I’m gonna cry.

    So drive on by

    I said drive on by

It's ok to breakdown and cry
at the red light of reasons why
but i can't just drive on by

gotta help a sister out this intersection
let her car know i'm lovin wit affection
jump start ya direction of destination

sho u 123 lovers lane rd.
    where happiness Dr. unfolds
    just pass westheaven st.
where true love and u can meet

    so go head and cry
but i will not just drive on by
    without giving a hand
to a beautiful ride ya soul sitting in
    once u start and move
    then i'll continue through

This was well felt and expressed enjoyed this flow

*Lookin' ova at you from my driver's side window*
Wonderin' why this beautiful sistah has reached an all-time low
Tears streamin' down her face as the red light turns green
Cars driving around her as if this is routine

Switching my foot from gas to brake,
Peering into her eyes I can see the heartache
Yes my sistah, cry if you must
Take this time to rid yourself of the pain and disgust...

...that life sometimes brings at every corner and turn
Let those tears out and then let it burn!
For you are not the totality of all that consumes you
So shed them if you have to, then do what you gotta do!

Push those shoulders back and raise your head up high
If nobody else cares, I believe you can fly!
Look to the hills from whence cometh your help...above
For you are highly favored and tremendously loved!

    Great piece Sis Sweet!!!

    um

    the red light turns green
    put on your high beams
    cut thru that intersection
    it's all just a dream
don't cry yano what i mean
    lean
    back
    fall
    back
it don't have to be like that
    this ain't a speed trap

in the intersection turn right go str8
    when you're on the road
    concentrate
    road of your life
in the middle of the intersection
    don't apply the brakes
    the drama can wait

    merge to the left lane
    on your right
    bypass
    the road pains
dem streets “Nobody Loves Me” Lane,
and “I Don’t Love Yall Either” Pkwy.
    done had a name change
    red light green light
    the sun is out
    and the forecast
    doesn't
    call for rain

God will never drive on by, whether in good times or in bad, and it's a special feeling when this community holds your hand and understands. Feeling your flow poetess.

This was reminiscent of (i know there are many versions but I like) Dionne Warwicks WALK ON BY
    Flow on Star poetess :)
It was sad but so true and inspired poets to flow with you :read:
