Black Poetry : ???REAL???

you ever wish that maybe you didn't
know as much as you do
because you know too much and
knowing brings understanding
which in turn bares confusion

does this make sense or should i stop?

you witness injustice, hate, and crime
and claim that you just want
everything to be kept REAL
but then that turns out to be
just TOO **** REAL!

does this make any sense?

you feel things that others feel
shouldn't be felt but you
can't deny feelings
although you wish it were possible
and conscious efforts are made

really, should i stop?

yeah let me stop...

you speak nothing but the truth...
and i'm sure it is not only seen in the eyes of me and you

So continue with your thoughts...
and express how you feel...
cause if you don't...
then you'll be considered unreal...

unreal? uh oh...not the title i was going for
it just seems that each day
brings new insight but takes
some innocense with it
sometimes i just wanna close my eyes
cover my ears and pretend i don't know
i just wanna make things right
fix the broken
help the helpless
uplift down souls
but it's beyond my control
i spend time in prayer
and give it all to my, your and OUR father!!!

And that's why we take it day by day..
continue to pray...and everthing will be okay

Just do the things you feel are right...
We hide behind our lives a refuse to open doors for others..
me..I won't lie..I open them and close them at the same time...

Its like some one scuffling for change...here ya go sir..

Those kinds of things...and yes..its the same old song..that we all sing...I wish I could...and if I would..but just as long as you are doing what you can do...Believe the lords is thankful...

Now Dyme, I'm not saying or labeling you as unreal but never be ashamed or hide how you feel. Express for all the world to know...That way you don't have to worry about too many people thats actually listening to still step on your toes. Its all gravy baby LOL

Besides...i see you and you see me...we can become three....in our mentallity. We can do great things..maybe not solve world hunger but one plus two...can show nuff help somebody get food. Keep scribin baby!!! We can't solve it but we sure can help it.
