(This a piece that makes her spill out all her guts.)

    …thinking back—
    she can’t recall (at all)
    the exact moment that
    He became more to her
than just words on a page
it may have been the night when
He introduced her to Michael Franks
    but then she thinks…
it could have been the time when
    He listened… as she talked
about the death of her best friend
    in any event…
    her heart tells her that—
    some-way/some-how
    He became the one who
writes His name upon her soul
    in bright bold letters using
    the broad delicate strokes of
His perfect-ly poetic pen & then
    leaves her with-out breath when
she encounters the depths of His
    deep thoughts…emotions… & beliefs
but… He calls her “silly billy” &
doesn’t take her real talk serious-ly
so… she’s setting her grand notions
    of “we” free… painful-ly releasing
the asinine dreams that she once
    conceivab-ly believed that they
    could ultimate-ly achieve… together
& whether He understands it or not
she’s advised Him that she’s devised
a plan to exorcise her self of the
    unanswered amorous obsession
that He has procured over her heart
    …she’s informed Him that
she’s indeed divorcing a man she never
    even married… realizing that—
although she’s go-ing her feelings seem
    to still be growing
    & while she’s saying good-bye…
    she’s telling a lie…
‘cause all she tru-ly wants Him to
know is that she really loves Him.

    B R A V O Queen! (do you hear me clapping?)

Throughout this piece GOD spoke to me ... and it allows me to know that HIS Love is REAL, even through all the burdeonsome things I need HIM for -- all those conversations, and when I think HE is not listening ~ all I need to do is just read this piece.... and even though you may or may not be speaking of GOD in this scribe ~ it's definitely to let you know that each reader may perceive something different....

(Gurl, this is like reading something that is "annointed") :) Thank you for puttin' this up, and I am glad that I have read this scribe this morning!

Thank you sistah GA, I needed this affirmation today.

    Always

GA, this is where your talent tends to shine most radiantly! You have mastered the skill of spoken word in poetry. It's always exciting to consume your work...

I feel the heart and soul of this piece

and we must come to terms with the reality that if it was EVER love, it NEVER dies.... it's just set aside. And God provides us the strength to rearrange what will not change.

    Ask me how I know.

Awesome flow, Ms. GA. And I agree with N2, and Mr. Marion. This is anointed/spoken word scribe.

Keep coming from your deep places... lotta good stuff down there!
